Compassionate Care Assistant

This role is an opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of elderly individuals by providing daily living assistance and support.
As a dedicated caregiver, you will play a vital role in ensuring residents feel safe, respected, and well cared for. Your responsibilities will include assisting with mobility, hygiene, meals, and social support.
You may also be required to support residents with medication administration, participate in care planning, and contribute to a positive and nurturing environment.
We are seeking individuals who genuinely care about improving the lives of others and are ready to contribute to our mission of person-centred care. You will bring warmth, reliability, and a team-focused attitude, along with strong communication skills and a positive outlook.
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care) or equivalent qualification (essential)
- A current National Police Check or willingness to obtain one
- Up-to-date COVID-19 and Influenza vaccinations (or willingness to obtain them)
- Strong communication skills and a positive attitude
- Willingness to learn and work within a team environment
- Desirable: HLTHPS006 – Assist clients with medication, First Aid/CPR, Certificate IV in Ageing Support
