About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Assistant Manager to join our team in the Decommissioning Branch. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in shaping the government's offshore oil and gas decommissioning policy and regulatory reforms.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide policy advice to Government on commercial and regulatory options to ensure oil and gas companies fulfill their decommissioning obligations
  • Develop policy related to financial assurance, decommissioning regulations, and decommissioning planning
  • Engage with stakeholders across industry, states and territories and internationally to progress best practice decommissioning
  • Provide advice and guidance to support offshore oil and gas decommissioning outcomes
