Executive Assistant Principal Job Description

This strategic leadership role supports the Principal in driving the College's teaching and learning strategy and oversees operational activities.

As part of the executive leadership team, the role oversees a team of assistant principals across the College.

  • Fostering a high-performance College culture focused on continuous improvement, data-driven decision-making, and best practice
  • Collaborating with leadership to plan, implement, and evaluate strategic teaching and learning objectives
  • Strengthening school-parish connections in the Church's evangelising mission
  • Staying current with educational trends locally and globally to guide staff development
  • Overseeing the Annual Professional Learning Plan to support staff capability
  • Managing complex pastoral care and discipline matters as required
  • Leading or supporting recruitment and selection across all role levels
  • Assisting in developing and executing the College's wellbeing framework

Key Responsibilities:

  • Drive the teaching and learning strategy
  • Support staff development
  • Manage complex pastoral care

Qualifications:

  • Postgraduate qualifications or Masters in Leadership, Religion, Theology or a relevant educational field
  • Requirements of Category E as per Accreditation Policy to Work, Teach, and Lead
