As an Export Logistics Specialist, you'll be responsible for arranging and directing the transportation and shipment of export consignments from origin to destination. This involves compiling, completing, and verifying required documents in accordance with company policy and procedure, as well as external body regulations.
You will ensure export sea consignments are processed to meet customer expectations and designated KPIs. Upholding customer service excellence and working together with the Export Sea team to ensure quality and accuracy of work delivered is also a key responsibility.
The position requires carrying out export workflow processes in accordance with management directives, customer instructions, SOPs, and specified requirements. Establishing and maintaining strong client relationships with customers, suppliers, and service providers both locally and overseas is crucial.
Key responsibilities include problem-solving Export issues with a range of stakeholders, entering data into CW1, planning and prioritizing export shipments from the Export Workbench, calculating monetary issues, implementing and monitoring process improvements, and supporting the Senior Team Lead & Manager with day-to-day activities and other reasonable tasks and projects as required.
To succeed in this role, leadership skills, resilience, high attention to detail, industry knowledge and experience, CargoWise One knowledge and experience, and Microsoft office experience (Outlook, Excel) are essential.
Relevant industry regulations include RACA, IATA, and Dangerous Goods. A mentoring and supportive environment with a collaborative operational team offers career development opportunities.
