About the Role

Gaming Laboratories International (GLI) is a leading provider of testing and certification services for the gaming industry. We are seeking an experienced Accountant to join our global Accounting team in Adelaide, Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage financial information, prepare reports, and complete special projects as assigned.
  • Ensure timely and accurate entries, posts, and invoices, as well as financial reporting.
  • Post employee timecards and expense reports.
  • Accurately enter accounts payable invoices, obtaining proper approvals.
  • Maintain fixed asset software, run reports, and record depreciations.
  • Prepare and maintain general ledger entries and reconciliations for month end closings.
  • Generate invoices and ensure they, along with expenses, are processed accurately and timely.
  • Maintain accurate data in the accounting system, Acumatica, including new tasks, revenue and expense budgets, and client bill rates.
  • Invoice intercompany, domestic, and/or international clientele.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations, as needed.
  • Process payroll for the Australia and Macau offices, including year end and tax reconciliations.
  • Review proposals for specialized billing of fixed price projects.
  • Analyze aged accounts receivable reports and notify project managers of overdue accounts.
  • Prepare account analysis and transaction investigations.
  • Maintain general ledgers and financial reports.
  • Research financial issues and recommend appropriate resolutions.
  • Assist in documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
Requirements
  • A minimum of two (2) years of previous experience in a related position is required.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related field is required.
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Experience with Acumatica is a plus.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to effectively read, write, and speak English fluently to communicate with other members of the team and clients.
  • Ability to handle and organize multiple projects and deadlines.
  • High degree of attention to quality, details, and correctness.
