Job Title

A finance leader is required to join our team.

The role involves providing analytical, accounting and financial system support to the command/business unit and coordinating the finance function in order to meet business objectives.

We are seeking a highly skilled professional with experience in managing transactional financial systems and functions, providing monthly reporting as required to business units in a timely manner.

  • We have an opportunity for a Finance Manager to be part of our Southern Region Office team.
About the Role

The successful candidate will provide financial advice to Commanders and Managers on all matters affecting business planning and financial performance and make evidence-based recommendations to inform decision making.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in finance, business, accounting or equivalent industry experience, and membership with a professional accounting body.

The position forms an integral part of the Business Management Team within the Southern Region Office and plays a vital role in providing support and guidance to the District Commanders and Managers.

Key Responsibilities

The successful candidate will:

  • Obtain and maintain the requisite security clearances for this position.
  • Provide financial advice to Commanders and Managers on all matters affecting business planning and financial performance.
  • Make evidence-based recommendations to inform decision making.
  • Manage transactional financial systems and functions, providing monthly reporting as required to business units in a timely manner.
