About the Role

The Child Protection and Neglect Health Clinician will work within the JCPRP tri-agency partnership, providing integrated crisis responses and ongoing counselling to children and young people who have experienced sexual assault, physical abuse, neglect, and support for their family members.

Main Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with local health districts and speciality networks to provide comprehensive support services.
  • Develop and implement strategies to prevent and respond to violence and neglect.
  • Provide expert advice and guidance to local clinicians on issues related to trauma-informed care and child protection.
  • Represent the FWLHD at various forums and meetings to advocate for the needs of clients and stakeholders.
