Job SummaryWe are seeking an experienced Electrical Maintenance Specialist to join our team in the Mid North of South Australia.
This role involves balancing operational requirements to ensure that all plant and equipment are maintained to the highest standard of safety, reliability, and efficiency.
The successful candidate will have day-to-day variety and problem-solving opportunities, as well as incorporating long-term planning projects as part of our preventative and predictive maintenance programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct fault finding and implement repairs to mechanical, hydraulic, diesel, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
- Help develop and implement solutions to ensure a timely and effective response to equipment failures or breakdowns.
- Perform electrical (including PLC diagnostic) and mechanical tasks.
- Work with the maintenance manager to identify and implement plant improvements and future capital projects.
- Execute our preventative maintenance programme in line with terminal operations.
- An Electrical workers licence Class A (South Australia).
- Competent in interpreting pneumatic diagrams.
- Experience with hydraulic control systems, mechanical, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining fixed and mobile plant and equipment is desirable.
- The ability to work at heights and within confined spaces.
- Current drivers' licence is essential.
- A forklift and/or medium rigid licence is highly desirable.
- On-call allowances plus additional payment when called in to attend site.
