About the Role

As a Nurse Educator with the Central Adelaide Local Health Network, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of nursing practice within the framework of the National Mental Health Policy and National Standards. You will utilize your clinical knowledge and experience to provide comprehensive support services to nursing and midwifery practice, developing and delivering educational programs, training sessions, and learning materials to ensure our nursing workforce is equipped with the latest skills and knowledge.

About You

We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Educator who meets the following key requirements:

  • Registered Nurse with at least three years' experience and a qualification in mental health nursing (equivalent to a Graduate Diploma).
  • Proven leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple demands and foster a supportive, collaborative workplace.
  • Experience in developing and delivering educational programs, with strong presentation skills for diverse audiences.
  • In-depth understanding of mental health nursing practices, national competencies, and legislative responsibilities in healthcare.
