Job Title: Mental Health Nurse

The Mental Health Rehabilitation team is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join their dynamic and supportive team. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and delivering high-quality nursing care to patients/clients consistent with organizational policies, procedures, and standards.

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing and current registration as a Registered Nurse are required.
  • Demonstrated high-level written and verbal communication skills and ability to identify key messages, issues, and concerns when communicating with others.
  • Demonstrated ability to proactively engage with patients/clients to enhance service delivery and guide others in providing service excellence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team and apply professional and ethical boundaries when dealing with complex situations.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Relevant experience working in Mental Health at a postgraduate level.
  • Proven ability to deliver high-quality patient care in Mental Health.
  • Basic computer skills and proven ability to use health information systems.
  • Demonstrated understanding of recovery principles and commitment to consumer-focused care.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Nursing.
  • Current registration as a Registered Nurse.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to work effectively as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
