Physiotherapy Manager for Children's Hospital

This is a managerial position with a clinical caseload in the Paediatric Physiotherapy Team. The team provides evidence-based assessments, interventions and child-focused care that ensures optimal outcomes for infants, children, young people and their families.

The manager role works closely alongside other service managers within Paediatric Allied Health and with members of the various multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality physiotherapy services.

This position involves providing clinical assessment and intervention across the inpatient and outpatient areas, involving patients with various needs. The applicant will be supported by seniors within the Paediatric Physiotherapy service and other allied health professionals.

About You

This person will have advanced communication skills, with a passion for delivering quality physiotherapy services to infants, children and young people. They will be calm when prioritising different demands and clear in communicating these priorities with members of the multidisciplinary team.

Key Requirements
  • A relevant university degree in physiotherapy
  • Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
  • Membership of the Physiotherapy Board of Australia
