State Business Development Manager

You are a highly skilled sales professional with experience in mid-market sales, channel partner co-selling, and solution selling. This role requires you to be at the forefront of new business development, prospecting high-value customers, coaching partners, and translating business requirements into strategic solutions.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Generate high-value opportunities and build a strong pipeline of new mid-market customers in Victoria through proactive outreach and co-selling with channel partners.
  • Cover the end-to-end sales process, including discovery, solution mapping, proposal development, and deal closure.
  • Maintain CRM accuracy, report on pipeline health, and contribute to business reviews with senior leadership.
  • Act as a trusted advisor to customers and partners, deepening strategic relationships and uncovering cross-sell opportunities.

Your Skills and Qualifications:
  • 10+ years of B2B sales or business development experience, with a proven ability to sell complex ICT and telecommunications solutions.
  • Previous success in mid-market sales (20–499 FTE), with a deep understanding of customer buying behaviors and pain points.
  • Strong experience in channel partner co-selling, including enablement, account planning, and opportunity management.
  • Technical understanding of ICT products (e.g., mobile, fixed, data, cloud) and the ability to engage pre-sales teams effectively.
  • Skilled in solution selling, pipeline development, CRM forecasting, and commercial negotiation.
  • Proficient in Salesforce, LinkedIn Sales Navigator, and digital prospecting tools.
