HVAC Technician

We are seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to join our team.

The role involves working on a wide variety of Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning (HVAC) and refrigeration systems within the hospital.

This is a permanent position with rotating 12-hour shifts and a competitive hourly rate.

Responsibilities
  • Perform Planned Preventative Maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs across various HVAC and refrigeration systems.
  • Monitor Building Management Systems (BMS) to ensure plant efficiency.
  • Provide technical support and maintenance on mechanical plant including heat exchangers, cooling towers, pumps and motors; HVAC assets such as AHU, Variable Air Volume (VAV) and heat recovery systems.
  • Maintain high standards of safety; conduct risk assessments and job safety analyses for all tasks.
Requirements
  • Extensive building services experience in large commercial environments.
  • Proficiency with testing instruments, tools and equipment to perform asset commissioning and performance monitoring.
  • Competent in fault-finding refrigeration assets and associated controls.
  • Knowledge and experience fault-finding HVAC control systems for commercial and residential buildings.
  • Strong customer service focus with a commitment to resolving customer concerns through proactive communication.
  • HVAC Trade Certificate with ARCTICK licence including restricted electrical licence.
