Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Equipment Rebuild Workshop Manager to join our team at Perenti Group. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing our Equipment Rebuilds and Equipment Workshop, ensuring that works are completed in a compliant manner with respect to quality, quantity, and safety.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide effective leadership and manage people and projects within the Equipment Rebuild Workshop.
  • Lead the Equipment Workshop team, ensuring that works are completed in a compliant manner with respect to quality, quantity, and safety.
  • Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Work closely with customers to build transparent win-win relationships.
  • Effective planning and utilization of resources to ensure the completion of projects on time and within budget.
  • Work with business partners to execute and deliver the Operational Plan.
  • Ensure all team members have a clear understanding of required expectations and deliverables.
  • Translate client and operational requirements into monthly, weekly, and daily schedules and planning.
  • Ensure compliance with legislation, statutory requirements, safety standards, and WHS requirements.
  • Review and management of business unit costs with a focus on cost reduction or improvements and implement continuous improvement (CI) strategies.
  • Ensure compliance of the team within Perenti Group's policies and procedures.

Requirements

  • Tertiary qualification in business, engineering, or an associated degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a senior management position within heavy industry technology.
  • Previous experience in either a consulting or project management role.
  • Able to lead multi-functional teams to achieve outcomes.
  • Well-developed business acumen and critical thinking skills.
  • Experience with budgets, data analysis, and compiling reports.
  • Understands how to influence key metrics such as labor utilization, work in progress, and efficiency performance measures.
  • Ability to work successfully within a team and autonomously.
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Office 365; Word and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
  • Professional discretion and excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Hard working, self-motivated, and good decision-making skills.
