The Role

We are seeking a seasoned Manufacturing Support Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our manufacturing operations, you will provide technical leadership and expertise to drive efficiency and improvement.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead the first point of contact for manufacturing-related issues, ensuring timely resolution and continuous improvement.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve production problems, optimizing processes and reducing waste.
  • Develop and implement strategies to improve quality, safety, and cost-effectiveness in manufacturing operations.
  • Mentor junior engineers, fostering a culture of knowledge sharing and growth.

Requirements:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar manufacturing role within a highly regulated industry.
  • Proven expertise in problem-solving, design, manufacturing/business process development, and personal influence.
