Senior Manufacturing Expert Role

The primary function of this position is to provide technical leadership and strategic direction in manufacturing operations, focusing on efficiency optimization and continuous improvement.

  • Acts as the first point of contact for yield, quality, and throughput issues in the manufacturing department
  • Develops solutions to identified production problems through analysis and implementation
  • Analyses manufacturing rejects to reclaim possible values, identify root causes, and rectify them
  • Ensures accurate and effective processing of non-conformities and concessions
  • Guarantees adherence to the Quality System and relevant regulatory bodies' standards
  • Identifies opportunities for safety, quality, and cost improvements on the manufacturing lines

Requirements:

  • Possesses a tertiary qualification in Engineering. Preferably Mechanical, Manufacturing, Aeronautical, Biomedical, or Mechatronics.
  • Demonstrates 3+ years of experience in a similar manufacturing role within a highly regulated industry
  • Experience working within a Quality Management system is essential
  • Proven competencies in problem-solving, design, manufacturing/business process development, and personal influence are required
