We are committed to better university access, participation, and opportunities for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander people. The Ngunnawal Centre is our student success and support centre at the University of Canberra.

Job Overview

This role will use specialist knowledge in a discipline area to provide academic support and skills development for Indigenous students. You will have a critical role in supporting students to successfully continue in their course.

The key responsibilities include engaging with Indigenous students to develop tutoring plans, using learning and support tools available to students within the university to increase their learning capacity and engagement with their studies.

To be considered for this position, you will require a Working With Vulnerable People (WWVP) check, demonstrated discipline expertise, and an understanding of how relevant subjects are taught at the University of Canberra.

You will need to commit to empowering our students academically, professionally, and personally. Additionally, you must have an awareness and respect of cultural sensitivities to ensure the best support for the student's success.

The estimated annual salary for this position is approximately $70,000 - $90,000 depending on your qualifications and experience.
