CSSD Technician

We are seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Sterilisation Technician to join the Central Staffing Casual Pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network. As a Sterilisation Technician, you will contribute to the effective delivery of sterilisation services by processing surgical instruments according to the AS/NZS 4187.

• Process surgical instruments according to the AS/NZS 4187
• Work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team to partner with consumers

The successful candidate will have completed an AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Services and have demonstrated experience in a perioperative and CSSD department. You will have sound knowledge of a range of instruments, sterilising methods and infection control principles. With the ability to meet deadlines and organise workloads effectively, you will possess strong interpersonal and communication skills and the ability to relate to people from different cultures, backgrounds and circumstances.
