CSSD Technician

We are seeking motivated and enthusiastic Sterilisation Technicians to join the Central Staffing Casual Pool at the Barossa Hills Fleurieu Local Health Network and work in one or more of our diverse health units located in Mount Barker, Gawler, Victor Harbor, Kangaroo Island, Kapunda, and Angaston.

• Process surgical instruments according to the AS/NZS 4187.
• Contribute to the effective delivery of sterilisation services.
• Work collaboratively within an inter-disciplinary team to partner with consumers.
• Display our values of Trust, Respect, Integrity, Collaboration, and Kindness.

• AQF Certificate III in Sterilising Services.
• Recent experience working within a sterilising department.
• Sound knowledge of a range of instruments, sterilising methods, and infection control principles.
• Ability to meet deadlines and organise workloads effectively.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
