We're seeking a skilled professional to fill the Loan Processing Officer position within our finance team. The ideal candidate will possess experience in loan assessment, preferably in the banking or finance industry. Responsibilities include keeping members informed on loan progress, requesting additional information or outstanding documents to support pre-approval or declines, and analysing data to complete credit assessment checks against risk and responsible lending obligations. In addition, they will be required to update and maintain accurate data and records in RAC Finance core systems. Successful candidates will bring previous experience in loan assessment, an understanding of loan conditions and documentation requirements, and knowledge of National Credit Code, responsible lending obligations, Privacy Act, and Credit policy. Sound problem-solving ability and decision-making skills, along with excellent customer/member focus and computer literacy with sound Microsoft Office skills, are also essential.
