Lead Pool Operations

As the Seasonal Team Leader at Doveton Pool in the Park, you will play a key role in managing daily pool operations. Your leadership skills will be put to the test as you oversee Duty Manager, Lifeguard, Customer Service and Café staff.

One of your main responsibilities will be to ensure the facility is presented at a high standard, implementing and maintaining systems to maintain this level of excellence.

Experience in a similar leadership role within Sports & Recreation industry is highly regarded.

A Pool Lifeguard Certificate, First Aid Certificate, CPR Certificate are essential qualifications for this position.

Tertiary qualifications in Sports Management or related field are highly regarded.

In this leadership role, you will also be responsible for providing guidance and support to staff members.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage day-to-day operations of the outdoor swimming pool.
  • Provide leadership and guidance to team members.
  • Maintain high standards of customer service.
  • Implement and maintain systems for effective pool operation.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Leadership experience in Sports & Recreation industry.
  • Prior experience in a similar management role.
  • Pool Lifeguard Certificate.
  • First Aid Certificate.
  • CPR Certificate.
  • Tertiary qualification in Sports Management or related field.
