Job Overview

A dynamic and results-driven business development professional is sought to join our client's team. The successful candidate will have a strong background in sales, account management or business development, with a proven track record of meeting and exceeding new business targets.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Identify target clients and develop new relationships
  • Maintain existing client relationships
  • Understand allocated geographical location and schedule regular face-to-face meetings with key decision makers
  • Educate clients on company initiatives, procedures and points of difference
  • Provide exceptional customer service to all existing and potential clients to cultivate strong relationships
  • Log detailed activity, visits and relevant commentary to ensure accurate reporting and review of business performance
  • Develop and utilise sales strategies in consultation with senior management
  • Manage new client relationships and ensure seamless handover to operations teams
  • Handle feedback/complaints and implement problem-solving strategies to resolve client concerns and ensure satisfaction

Key Requirements:

  • Sales/Account Management or Business Development experience with demonstrated ability to meet and exceed sales targets
  • Experience in field-based sales/business development role
  • Excellent interpersonal and partnership building skills and attributes
  • Well-developed verbal communication, problem-solving and conflict resolution skills
  • Self-motivated and able to work autonomously
  • Proactive attitude showing willingness to support colleagues to deliver excellent customer service
