As a data analyst, you will have the opportunity to work with large-scale data in Australia. Your responsibilities will include analyzing, developing, troubleshooting, and documenting data issues.

This role requires a strong attention to detail and a deep understanding of popular data analysis tools and databases. Additionally, extensive knowledge and experience in software development are necessary.

  • Analyze, profile, and present data to facilitate business understanding.
  • Research and guide on data migration software purchases.
  • Develop ETL processes and perform data migration tasks.
  • Interpret functional and reporting aspects of data.
  • Presentation of data to stakeholders, highlighting scope, gaps, and issues.
  • Identify patterns and trends in data sets.
  • Design and implement new procedures, and modify existing ones.
  • Liaise with peers and test analysts to resolve issues and ensure compliance with requirements.
  • Collaborate with teams to establish business needs.
  • Document technical specifications and operational procedures for data cleansing.

Key Requirements:

  • 5+ years of experience in data analysis and software development.
  • Proven ability in data profiling/analysis, SQL, and data deduplication/cleansing processes.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to analyze information critically.
  • Experience working in a client-facing capacity with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to evaluate and procure software.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Qualifications:

  • Relevant degree in IT industry.
  • Certification in relevant technologies.
