Role and Responsibilities

We are seeking an experienced Optometrist to join our team in Canberra. As an Optometrist in this role, you will have the opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology, including Retinal Camera, Visual Field Analyser, Non-contact tonometer, Corneal Topographer, Optos UWDRS and OCT.

You will be responsible for performing eye examinations for a diverse range of customers, from children to contact lens wearers and those requiring therapeutic treatments.

  • Recommend lens solutions based on customer lifestyle and preferences.
  • Communicate complex lens technology to customers, highlighting features and benefits.
  • Coach and mentor Graduate Optometrists in the use and recommendation of technology to customers.
  • Work collaboratively with Store Managers and Managing Optometrists to maximise Eyecare revenue through efficient use of technology and labour.
