Quality Assurance Specialist

As a Quality Assurance Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the integrity of software solutions under development. You will be responsible for testing our solutions to provide assurance that risks are accurately quantified and addressed.

  • You will participate in workshops to provide testing inputs, assess effort, understand requirements, write test cases, execute tests, and document results.
  • Develop test cases and procedures to verify system features are correctly implemented.
  • Execute tests according to plans, including in simulated environments and scenarios.
  • Monitor defects and retest as needed.
  • Produce reports on test progress, results, and relevant information.
  • Contribute to planning, review, and retrospective meetings.

Key Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as a Software Tester, with a solid understanding of testing methodologies.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow test plans meticulously.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and isolate defects effectively.
  • Good communication skills and ability to collaborate across teams.
  • Experience with Agile methodologies is a plus.
  • Relevant certifications such as ISTQB are desirable.
  • NV1 Security Clearance: To work within our Defence unit, you must hold or be able to obtain and maintain a Defence NV1 security clearance.
