Job Title: Cyber Security Professional

In a fast-paced digital landscape, organizations rely on vigilant security experts to safeguard their sensitive data and maintain business continuity. As a seasoned Cyber Security Engineer at a prominent IT services provider, you will play a pivotal role in fortifying our clients' cyber defenses.

Main Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive SIEM solutions to provide real-time visibility into complex environments, continually adapting to emerging threats.
  • Respond promptly to security alerts, effectively managing and eliminating identified threats through swift action.
  • Conduct regular vulnerability assessments, collaborating with the team to address identified vulnerabilities where applicable.
  • Design and enforce robust security controls aligned with relevant security frameworks, ensuring regulatory compliance and minimizing risk exposure.
  • Educate colleagues on best practices in cyber security, fostering a culture of awareness and vigilance throughout the organization.
Key Requirements
  • A minimum of three years of experience in a technical IT role with a focus on security.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Microsoft environments (M365, Azure) and security tools such as Sentinel, Splunk, LogRhythm, Tenable, and Nessus.
  • A strong desire to learn and develop further your security skills, supported by an employer committed to ongoing learning and professional development.
  • Ability to work effectively with customers in an MSP environment, showcasing excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
  • Australian citizenship and eligibility for a federal security clearance are mandatory requirements for this position.
