Join us in this exciting opportunity to become a Workday Payroll Implementation Consultant. In this role, you will be responsible for bridging the gap between business and technical teams by solving complex Workday intersystem problems.
You will guide clients through transformation, implementation, and operation phases of a Workday implementation. This involves configuring projects to meet business and design qualifications, ensuring a smooth transfer from legacy systems to Workday Payroll.
Responsibilities:- Become an expert in Workday Payroll product knowledge, including design, configuration, testing, and implementation.
- Use your expertise to recommend solutions based on client requirements, budget, and timeframe. Be flexible to adapt scope as additional needs are identified.
- Lead facilitated design sessions and configuration decisions based on best practices and understanding of unique business requirements at all stages of the project.
- Regularly engage and support clients through all phases of the project, ensuring a successful transition from legacy systems to Workday Payroll.
- Perform multiple tasks under limited direction, keeping clients, project team, and Engagement Manager informed of changes or progress related to the project.
- Collaborate with integration teams to configure and test integrations between Workday solution and selected payroll and benefits providers.
- Bachelor's degree required or equivalent.
- Preferred experience in Workday Payroll implementation.
- Highly desired: 2+ years of Workday functional implementation experience.
- Preferred: 2-5 years Human Resources, Payroll, or Financial software experience.
- Desired: 2-5 years implementing functional solutions with ERP or SaaS software.
- Experience gathering business requirements, designing, prototyping, testing, and implementing practical business solutions under multiple deadlines.
- Minimal travel required, but willingness to travel on-site if needed.
