**Automation Specialist Role**

A senior test automation engineer is required to develop and execute automated test solutions using software such as Selenium, Protractor, or TypeScript.

The ideal candidate will have a tertiary qualification in IT or business, with expertise in structured testing methodologies like agile, waterfall, V-model, DevOps.

Key responsibilities include creating automated test scripts, developing manual test documentation, setting up test data, and ensuring compliance with company methodology and ISO standards.

Other key aspects of the role include continuous process improvements within the SDLC, collaborating with teams/departments (multi-national) as required, and demonstrating flexibility and willingness to learn about software products and procedures.

Requirements for the role include ISTQB Foundation and/or Advanced certification, demonstrated experience with end-to-end testing of financial/business industry software, and understanding of BDD/TDD behaviors.

Additionally, the ideal candidate must be an Australian citizen or permanent resident with full working rights.

Responsibilities:

  • Create automated test scripts using software such as Selenium, Protractor, or TypeScript.

  • Set up test data in various formats, including SQL or Oracle.
  • Execute designated software releases/builds and test upgrades/update installation procedures.
  • Ensure compliance with company methodology and ISO standards.
  • Contribute to continuous process improvements within the SDLC.
  • Collaborate with teams/departments (multi-national) as required.
  • Demonstrate flexibility and willingness to learn about software products and procedures.
