
High Performance Test Automation Lead

The Quality Assurance Lead role is a challenging and rewarding opportunity for a highly motivated individual to take on a leadership position in test automation.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and executing comprehensive automation planning, scoping, designing, executing and ensuring the quality delivery of the platform.
- Leading and mentoring a team of test automation engineers, providing guidance, training, and support to ensure the highest level of performance and productivity.
- Establishing and maintaining communication with all stakeholders internal and external.
- Setting up and maintaining test automation reporting and dashboards that can be used for reporting and to analyse to identify patterns, design metrics, execution metrics, failure metrics, productivity and opportunities for continuous improvements.
Successful candidates will have:
- A minimum of 10 years of experience within the Quality Assurance field, with at least 5 years of experience as a Test Automation Lead.
- Extensive experience and high proficiency in test automation using JavaScript and TypeScript languages with proven successful delivery of test automation frameworks, scripts and tools.
- In-depth experience delivering, developing and executing test automation solutions in Web based testing and API testing using tools like Playwright, Protractor, Selenium, Cypress, Cucumber (BDD), REST API, Postman.
- In-depth experience delivering, developing and executing test automation solutions in REST API testing using tools like Playwright, Cypress, Rest Assured, Postman.
- Hands-on experience in Playwright using TypeScript is highly desirable.
- Experience in designing, developing and executing SQL, PL/SQL scripts.
- In-depth experience in build package tools like Node JS and source control management tools like Bitbucket, GitHub.
- In-depth experience in continuous integration tools like Bamboo, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Proven experience in designing and implementing test automation frameworks for large-scale software projects.
- Experience in working with defect and test management tools such as JIRA, XRAY, etc.
- Experience writing automation strategies, test plans, test scenarios and test cases.
- Proven experience in leading the test automation team with proven deliverables in the projects.
- Experience in setting up the dashboards, and reporting the test automation status with stakeholders.
- Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate and guide the test automation team.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment.
- Proven experience in building successful relationships across teams to effectively manage critical path dependencies and escalations.
- Accountable for outcomes and showing a proactive approach to problem solving.
- Collaborative working with test teams, development teams and engineering communities.
- Delivery of high quality outcomes.
- Experience working with a distributed team model.
