Global Logistics Manager

 

We are looking for a skilled and experienced Global Logistics Manager to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing the movement of goods and materials across the globe.

Key Responsibilities:

 

  • Actively participate in business development with senior management to identify opportunities for growth.
  • Develop strong relationships with clients to build trust and ensure their needs are met.
  • Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless execution of logistics operations.
  • Ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and materials.
  • Proactively monitor cargo movements and report any issues to clients.
  • Provide solutions for urgent cargo where necessary.
  • Work with clients to provide cost estimates and solutions for oversized cargo movement or future projects.
  • Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure logistics operations efficiency.
  • Assist in developing and implementing strategies to improve logistics processes and reduce costs.

 

Requirements:

 

  • Diploma or first degree in logistics, supply chain management, or related field.
  • Minimum 10 years of experience in international logistics.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in MS Office and logistics software.
  • CargoWise experience desirable.
