This is a permanent opportunity to work with atWork Australia, supporting individuals with complex barriers to employment.
- Conducting thorough assessments of candidates will be a key aspect of the role;
- Counselling interventions may be necessary in certain situations;
- Referring candidates to additional external support services will also be part of the job;
- Evaluations on assessments and monitoring case progression will require strong analytical skills;
- Liaising with medical professionals and community agencies will also be required;
- Providing training and guidance to atWork staff on psychological services and procedures will also be involved.
Key Requirements:
- A relevant Tertiary Qualification in Psychology or Counselling is essential;
- Eligibility for registration with APHRA or membership with ACA/PACFA is also required;
- Experience working within employment services is highly regarded but not essential;
- Knowledge of psychology assessment and intervention strategies will be important for this role;
- Exceptional communication and rapport-building skills are crucial for success;
- Ability to construct accurate and articulate case reports will also be required;
- Also, ability to provide a Police Clearance and Work with Children's Check is expected.
