Catholic Early EdCare is seeking an experienced and qualified educator to fill the role of Lead Early Childhood Educator for our Coordinator position at Bardon Out of School Hours Care.

We provide before and after school care for up to 59 children, and our program focuses on creating a calm and enriching learning environment that supports children's physical, social, and emotional development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage day-to-day operations, including staffing, administration, and financial management tasks.
  • Oversee the delivery of a high-quality, inclusive, and educational program that meets the needs of children and families.
  • Provide children with a safe, secure, and welcoming environment that promotes their overall well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the best outcomes for children and families.
  • Promote the service within the local community in accordance with our Vision, Mission, and Values.
Requirements
  • Diploma in Children Services or equivalent as per ACECQA guidelines.
  • Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card), First Aid, CPR, Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
  • A strong understanding of Child Care legislation, including the National Quality Framework, National Quality Standards, and My Time Our Place.
  • Effective computer skills, including experience with childcare management software.
  • Proven leadership and team development skills.
