Program Management Opportunity

The Education Standards Authority is seeking a skilled and motivated Program Manager to play a key role in delivering the Teacher Accreditation Workstream as part of the Technology Reform program, an intricate and business-driven ICT transformation initiative.

As the Program Manager, you will act as a bridge between the Workstream Lead, team members, and Subject Matter Experts from various divisions. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Aligning priorities and managing resources effectively
  • Coordinating communications and contributing to planning, risk management, and governance initiatives
  • Building strong relationships across diverse teams and embedding yourself in the organisation to support programme success
  • Serving as a key point of contact between teams, facilitating collaboration with Subject Matter Experts
  • Engaging with stakeholders to understand priorities, communicate objectives, and align activities with programme goals
  • Providing expert advice on change impacts, strategic priorities, and programme delivery to senior leaders and committees
  • Reviewing documentation to ensure clarity and alignment between technical and business requirements
  • Driving change management activities, including communication planning, organisational readiness, training, and deployment

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to lead change within complex frameworks
  • Experience delivering large-scale change programmes, with a knack for anticipating obstacles, challenging the status quo, and driving innovative solutions
  • Strong influencing and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences and secure buy-in
  • Ability to build trust and establish credibility with stakeholders at all levels
