About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Healthcare Assistant to join our team at Healthscope. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional patient care and support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide patient assistance and transfers, including the use of lifting equipment and bed movers.
  • Contribute to general housekeeping duties, such as cleaning beds, organizing linen, restocking equipment, and waste management.
  • Ensure the removal of dirty linen and the availability of clean linen.
  • Operate in accordance with WHS policies and procedures.
  • Deliver outstanding customer service to staff, clients, and patients.
  • Cultivate a welcoming and friendly environment for all patients.
  • Work collaboratively as an active team member to support all work tasks.

Essential Criteria:

  • Australia Work Authority.
  • Experience as an orderly or in a hospital environment.
  • Vaccination and serology records prior to commencement.
  • Working with Children check.
  • Commitment to service excellence.
  • Ability to prioritize and organize work with minimal supervision.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • High-level attention to detail.
