About the Role

The APS6 Fraud Intelligence Analyst is a key position within our organization, responsible for providing expert analysis and support to our regulatory efforts. As a Fraud Intelligence Analyst, you will be accountable for undertaking complex work that is guided by legislation, policies, procedures, standards, methodologies, and precedents.

Key Responsibilities
  • Contribute to the development, planning, and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
  • Utilize a Certificate IV in Government (Investigation) or its equivalent to support the planning and production of financial intelligence outputs and outcomes.
  • Conduct fraud assessments and produce financial intelligence reports for complex matters from the collection, evaluation, and analysis of information.
  • Lead tactical intelligence projects through the development of collection plans, assigning tasks, analyzing financial and other information, and articulating findings.
  • Contribute to the development of business rules, refinements, and suggested avenues of analysis and investigation.
  • Produce financial intelligence products within set timeframes in compliance with legislative, policy, and information security frameworks.
  • Provide ongoing intelligence support for matters referred for investigation.
Requirements
  • Certificate IV in Government Investigations or equivalent.
  • Intermediate Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Ability to analyze various forms of information to form a conclusion.
  • Attention to detail in written and verbal communication.
  • Fraud Intelligence and/or regulatory experience.
  • Knowledge of the NDIS and participant risk.
  • Ability to obtain and maintain "Negative Vetting Level 1" security clearance.
About You

You will bring your extensive experience in financial fraud intelligence to this role, utilizing your skills and experience in developing financial intelligence reports and intelligence projects.
