Clinical Librarian

This Clinical Librarian position is a 12-month parental leave replacement opportunity within the Monash Health Library Service.
The successful candidate will contribute to delivering high-quality library services, enabling health service employees to access the information they need to provide outstanding clinical care and world-class research.
Key responsibilities include research support services, literature searching, evidence reports, and customer service responsibilities across the Monash Health network.
The Clinical Librarian will also assist with the delivery of the library training program, which involves teaching research skills webinars, hybrid, and face-to-face events, and recorded videos.
About YouWe are seeking an experienced librarian with a passion for library services and evidence-based healthcare.
The ideal candidate will have experience in advanced searching, providing front-line information services, and supporting health sciences research.
They will also have the ability to work at all library sites, including Monash Medical Centre, Dandenong Hospital, Casey Hospital, Moorabbin Hospital, and Kingston Centre.
What You Need- A degree in Librarianship, qualifying you for professional membership of ALIA
- Experience in a health sciences environment is highly desirable
- Experience in providing reference services is essential
