About the Role
Mater Misericordiae Ltd is seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Medical Officer to join our team. As a Medical Officer, you will be responsible for providing medical care under the supervision and direction of Registrars and Senior Medical staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Interviewing, examining, and identifying patients and evaluating clinical problems;
- Planning overall clinical care;
- Selecting and organizing appropriate investigations;
- The day-to-day review of patients and safe handover of patient care to after-hours staff;
- Documentation of the patient's progress in the patient record;
- The timely preparation of discharge letters, discharge summaries, and other reports as required by the Hospital;
- The provision of assistance in operating theatres, including a remote surgical assist roster;
- Assisting with case presentations at teaching meetings.

What We Offer
Mater Misericordiae Ltd offers a competitive salary range of $94,812 - $102,104 per annum, plus superannuation. You will also have access to research opportunities with Mater Research, access to Professional Development opportunities with Mater Education, and clinical librarian support.

About You
To be considered for this role, you should have at least 1 year of relevant clinical postgraduate experience in Australia or a Country of Competent Authority according to AHPRA. You should also be eligible for General or Provisional Registration with AHPRA.
