About Our Identity and Access Role

We're seeking a seasoned IT professional to lead our Identity and Access Management (IAM) environment, helping safeguard our systems and information by ensuring secure access and supporting compliance. This role will work closely with the wider IT Security team and various stakeholders across the business to manage incidents, drive improvements, and support ongoing reviews of access and governance processes.

This hybrid role involves leading a small IAM team, overseeing access management processes, responding to and managing IAM-related incidents and service requests, contributing to IAM strategy, and collaborating with external vendors and testing partners as needed.

As an experienced IT leader, you'll be responsible for maintaining and supporting identity governance tools such as SailPoint and Azure AD, while also driving continuous improvement of security practices and supporting compliance with data-related regulations like PCI.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and support a small IAM team, including permanent and contract team members
  • Oversee access management processes, including provisioning, approvals, and system reviews
  • Respond to and manage IAM-related incidents and service requests
  • Contribute to IAM strategy and continuous improvement of security practices
  • Work with stakeholders to plan and implement new tools, systems, and enhancements
  • Maintain and support identity governance tools such as SailPoint and Azure AD
  • Collaborate with external vendors and testing partners as needed
  • Support compliance with data-related regulations such as PCI
  • Lead IAM audit activities and reporting of security control effectiveness
About You

You'll thrive in this role if you're a proactive and experienced IT professional with a strong background in identity and access management, and are passionate about security and technology. As a natural leader, you'll have excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, as well as strong problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills.

  • Requirements:
  • 5+ years' experience in IT, ideally within Identity & Access Management
  • Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure AD, SailPoint, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of IAM concepts including SSO, MFA, and PAM
  • Experience with ServiceNow and working cross-functionally with technical and business teams
  • Relevant tertiary qualifications and/or industry certifications desirable
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and planning skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
