We're seeking a skilled Broadcast Television Producer to join our Regional News team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality regional news content, collaborating closely with editorial and studio teams.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver engaging regional news content in collaboration with the editorial team.
  • Oversee live and pre-recorded bulletins, promos, and updates, ensuring timely delivery and seamless execution.
  • Contribute to pre-production planning, produce graphics, and edit stories and promos using broadcast software and equipment.
  • Maintain broadcast quality standards, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure studio facilities and equipment are production-ready.
  • Participate actively in team meetings, share ideas, and contribute to continuous improvement of workflows.

Requirements:

  • A calm, detail-oriented, and resourceful professional with strong organisational, problem-solving skills, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Able to effectively manage competing priorities under tight deadlines.
  • Tertiary qualification in media, production, journalism, or a related field.
  • A passion/enthusiasm for broadcast television and live production.
  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to troubleshoot effectively.
  • Ability to learn new systems, tools, and workflows quickly.
  • A strong technical aptitude and the ability to grasp technical concepts and processes.
