Are you passionate about delivering exceptional patient care and making a positive impact on the health of Australians?

As a Pathology Relief Collector at Healius, you will play a vital role in collecting blood and coordinating specimen samples from patients, using your empathy and drive to deliver great customer service and quality healthcare.

Reporting to the Collection Lead, you will join a passionate team and work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic, to collect samples with care and attention, keep meticulous records, and deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.

With a strong focus on customer service and communication, you will liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers to ensure seamless specimen collection and transportation.

About You

We are looking for a motivated and organized individual with demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection, with transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry.

You will have excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy, and be able to work autonomously, sometimes in a solo clinic.

Requirements

Vaccine preventable disease evidence, such as Hepatitis B and two doses of the Covid19 vaccination, are a requirement of this role.
