About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Pathology Relief Collector to join our team at Healius, a leading healthcare company in Australia.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collect blood and non-blood samples with care and attention to detail.
  • Maintain accurate records for every patient and sample.
  • Deliver documentation within strict turnaround times.
  • Prepare and package specimens for transport and testing.
  • Liaise with customers, clinic staff, and couriers.

About You
  • Demonstrated experience and knowledge in Phlebotomy or a Certificate III in Pathology Collection would be advantageous.
  • Transferable skills gained in other positions within the healthcare industry highly desirable.
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills, with a high level of empathy.
  • Organised, with strong time management and attention to detail.
  • Able to work autonomously, sometimes working independently in a solo clinic.
  • Hold a valid Driver's license and have flexibility to travel to multiple clinics.
  • Hold a working with Children's Check or be willing to obtain one.
  • Australian citizen or permanent resident or a New Zealand citizen, or hold a valid visa with permission to work.
Requirements
  • Vaccine preventable disease evidence such as Hepatitis B and two doses of the Covid19 vaccination are a requirement of this role.
