Childcare Leadership Role

We are seeking a dedicated professional to join our childcare team as Second in Charge (2IC). In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for delivering high-quality care and creating memorable experiences for the children in our service.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Program Design: Collaborate with our team to design and deliver engaging activities that cater to the interests of the children in your program.
  • Compliance: Ensure the program meets all relevant industry standards and regulations.
  • Parent Support: Interact with parents to provide exceptional support and answer their inquiries.
  • Community Engagement: Represent our organization within the school community by attending events, assemblies, and more when necessary.
  • Fun and Engagement: Play, engage, and have a blast with primary school-aged kids.
  • Holiday Program Coordination: Assist in coordinating activities during the school holiday program.

In order to succeed in this role, you will need to possess:

  • a strong passion for working with children
  • excellent problem-solving skills and a positive attitude
  • previous experience in childcare or education (training can be provided)
  • outstanding communication skills
  • a commitment to stable, permanent part-time hours - 27.5 hours per week
