About the Role:
The Business Analyst role is a pivotal position that requires strong analytical and problem-solving skills. As a Business Analyst, you will be responsible for identifying and documenting current business processes, creating and facilitating process design improvements, and providing expertise to support the Product Owner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct business and systems process analysis to identify areas for improvement.
- Document current state versus future state process maps.
- Elicit, document, and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
- Provide expertise to support the Product Owner in elaborating user stories, acceptance criteria, and process maps.
- Assist the Product Owner with the use of internal systems.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of proposed solutions and designs.
- Lead the transition of business requirements over to build teams for development.
- Support verification testing of the built solution to ensure alignment with business requirements.
Key Skills:
- Business process analysis: Proficiency in analyzing and documenting current state versus future state process maps.
- Requirement gathering: Ability to elicit, document, and manage business requirements into Epics and User Stories.
- Problem-solving: Strong problem-solving skills to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
- Testing: Ability to undertake systems testing against defined acceptance criteria during the build and testing cycles of development.
- Stakeholder engagement: Facilitating workshops with stakeholders, Business Analysts, UX/UI Designers, and technology teams.
- Risk assessment: Identifying potential issues or risks, tracking problems, recommending alternatives, and escalating issues as appropriate.
- System thinking: Developing and maintaining subject matter expertise across new systems and processes within the organization.
Desirable Skills:
- Data analysis: Skill in analyzing data to identify trends and insights.
- Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies like Agile or Kanban.
- Business Analysis Tools: Knowledge of tools such as Jira and Confluence for documentation and workflow management.
- Process Improvement: Experience in recommending and implementing process improvements.
- Cross-functional collaboration: Ability to work collaboratively with team members from various disciplines.
Benefits:

- Full-time hours Monday to Friday.
