Leisure and Lifestyle Officer Role

We are seeking to empower and engage our residents in their leisure activities by hiring two part-time Leisure and Lifestyle Officers.

This role involves working closely with our team to develop, implement and assess therapeutic plans that cater to the individual needs and wants of our residents.

  • The ideal candidate will have experience in aged care or supporting individuals with dementia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the development, implementation and assessment of therapeutic plans tailored to our residents' needs.
  • Support residents in engaging in leisure activities that promote their wellbeing.
  • Collaborate with staff and volunteers to deliver high-quality leisure programs.

Requirements for Success:

  • A Certificate III in Leisure and Lifestyle or equivalent qualification.
  • Valid working rights in Australia.
  • Agreement for a Police Check.
  • Up-to-date flu vaccinations (or willingness to obtain).
  • Experience in a care role is highly regarded.
