Job Opportunity: Equestrian Coach

We are seeking experienced and qualified coaches to deliver safe, fun, and inclusive riding and carriage-driving sessions for individuals of all abilities.

We are based in the beautiful Coombabah Lakelands, where our team culture and horse herd make it a special place to work. Our programs support riders with disabilities and able-bodied participants, making this a uniquely rewarding role.

Responsibilities:
  • Coach riding and carriage sessions (casual rostered shifts) using effective communication skills.
  • Support participants to achieve their goals by providing guidance and encouragement.
  • Prepare and care for horses before and after classes to ensure their safety and well-being.
  • Guide and supervise volunteers assisting in sessions to maintain a safe environment.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive atmosphere that promotes participant engagement.
Requirements:
  • Must hold RDA or EA/EQ coaching accreditation to demonstrate coaching expertise.
  • Current First Aid & CPR certification to ensure medical preparedness.
  • Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening to verify suitability for working with vulnerable groups.
  • Confident handling of a variety of horses to promote rider confidence.
  • Calm under pressure and safety-conscious to maintain a secure environment.
