Do you love horses and want to make a real difference?

Arundel Park Riding for Disabled (APRDA) is seeking experienced, qualified coaches to deliver safe, fun, and inclusive riding and carriage-driving sessions. Our programs support both participants with disability and able-bodied riders, making this a uniquely rewarding role.

For over 40 years, APRDA has been a proud not-for-profit charity on the Gold Coast, providing equestrian experiences that change lives. Based in the beautiful Coombabah Lakelands, our herd, volunteers, and supportive team culture make APRDA a special place to work.

What You'll Do
  • Coach riding and carriage sessions (casual rostered shifts during school terms)
  • Support participants of all abilities to achieve their goals
  • Prepare and care for horses before and after classes
  • Guide and supervise volunteers assisting in sessions
  • Contribute to a safe, supportive, and inclusive environment
What We're Looking For

Must hold RDA or EA/EQ coaching accreditation (or equivalent)

Current First Aid & CPR (or ability to obtain)

Blue Card & NDIS Worker Screening (or ability to obtain)

Confident handling of a variety of horses

Clear, encouraging communication style

Reliable, safety-conscious, and calm under pressure
