About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Food & Beverage Team Leader to join our dynamic team. In this key role, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day F&B operations and ensuring that every guest leaves with a smile on their face.

As a seasoned leader, you will effectively manage the team, providing hands-on guidance and mentorship to ensure that we consistently deliver a high standard of customer service.

You will also play a crucial role in liaising with various departments, including management, kitchens, conference and events, bar, and staff to prevent issues from arising and resolve them promptly when they do.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Directing and assisting F&B Attendants to carry out daily duties required to operate the outlet efficiently
  • Liaising between departments to proactively prevent issues and resolve them quickly
  • Balancing float and takings, completing end-of-day reports, and minimizing breakages and wastage
  • Managing difficult situations, including customer complaints and intoxicated guests
  • Ensuring staff complete training requirements and reporting hazards and risks to maintain a safe workplace
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a food & beverage team leader role within a 4-5 resort or similar environment
  • Certificate III or IV qualification in hospitality, desirable
  • Demonstrated ability to lead a team to follow procedures and provide on-the-job training
  • Barista, food & beverage knowledge and skills
  • Strong communication, attention to detail, time management, and conflict resolution skills
