Senior Data Scientist Role

The role of Senior Data Scientist involves driving the client's understanding of data to inform policy and program work, including providing advice on best practice data collection, data integrity, data interpretation and representation.

Main Responsibilities
  • Maintain and develop data systems to support client objectives, including scoping and development of relevant data sources, building of data models, and maintenance and extension of scripts/tools for ETL, data wrangling, and data cleaning.
  • Perform data analysis and visualisation, and maintain and develop AI tool(s) to support policy analysis.
Requirements
  • Australian citizenship and ability to obtain security clearance.
Benefits and Additional Information
  • Initial contract period is 12 months with possible extensions of 12 months each.
