Job Title: Principal Product Security Engineer

At Boeing, we are seeking an experienced Principal Product Security Engineer to join our innovative team. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security of our products and systems.

About the Role

The Principal Product Security Engineer will be responsible for leading the cyber and systems security engineering of products and non-IT networks. This includes performing threat and risk assessment, developing system requirements and architectures for product security, and ensuring the security of equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product.

Responsibilities
  • Lead cyber and systems security engineering of products and non-IT networks
  • Perform threat and risk assessment as part of a cyber-maturation process
  • Develop system requirements and architectures for product security
  • Ensure security of equipment, tools, data, networks, and resources used for product
  • Lead coordination with stakeholders to identify risks and improve industry and regulatory security standards and requirements
  • Develop and implement product security and resiliency throughout the requirements, design, build, test, production, operations, and support lifecycle
Requirements
  • Tertiary degree qualification in an engineering or related technical discipline
  • Demonstrated experience in applying relevant engineering practices, standards, and regulations
  • Experience in Accreditation and Certification of systems within Defence
  • Industry recognised information security qualification
  • Defence industry and/or Government security experience
  • Extensive Experience with Defence Industry Standards
  • Australian Citizenship
