Day-to-Day Operations Manager

We are seeking an experienced professional to oversee the daily operations of our cafe, supporting and developing a high-performing team. Key responsibilities include managing workforce schedules, maintaining high standards for products and services, fostering a collaborative environment, and conducting performance appraisals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee and supervise daily operations and manage workforce scheduling
  • Maintain workforce levels by recruiting and hiring new staff
  • Maintain the highest standards for all products and services
  • Foster an environment of respect, collaboration, and teamwork within the store
  • Follow all cash management policies and procedures to ensure accountability of all monies
  • Conduct performance appraisals according to established protocols

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years experience in a supervisory or managerial role
  • Experience managing day-to-day workforce scheduling, allocation, ordering, and financials
  • Strong leadership experience in development, supporting, and motivating staff
  • Passionate about providing exceptional customer service
  • Food preparation skills and knowledge of safe food handling are essential
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
